Too many times the judgments are based on poor samples, surprisingly, few biggest names in the field of art and philosophy have erred by being conclusive, have extrapolated their personal views, experiences, biases and formulated theories which are still taught in schools, art thou higher form, isn’t free from errors, sometimes has gross errors, the way we get conditioned to these things determines what we become in the end.
frequently, we play the role which was sought after by those scholars, who almost always belonged to solitude. We’ve enormous amount of disregarding wisdom, morality is a mere drama, “i would do what i do” is the title that dikes it. We want to judge, we want to define, but the lack of eyes to see what is already there is undoing everything that we will ever intend to do.
I had a conversation with an acquaintance sometime back, “Average people seem to rock the world” – she had exclaimed almost with a submission and then with a bloated sigh of need to stand the ground. “But how can there be common good” was my question, doesn’t that mean less by more? Its not human nature, its the belief, the remindful of what a group can achieve instead of good. May be its because we like middle options, and we like to click on small menus (important web-design principle there).
Its not easy to balance acceptance and insight at the same time. Notion-that people don’t change much, attributing innateness to everybody, and talking that reasons shape our beliefs, seem contradictory at the entrance of these paths. Fact that few of us reason everything and hold everything until it slips, is also submitted to judgement, as said already, we just need few people who too agree, and we live by what we’ve adjudged.
Are we trying to establish good? by judging what is good? Or are we trying to form larger groups that believe is “our” good? There’s actually no problem with having belief systems, the problem is that the already dangling beliefs judge and effect other systems, thoughts, beliefs. Seems like we are searching for certainities in a sea of doubts.
Only when we need to decide something which involves people, we are a bit careful, i think we would have tough times otherwise.
but it is confusing that we don’t hold judgmental types in good books. We almost ignore few established “verdicts”, but we mind what may have a chance to establish itself.
Future may see individual reasons paralleling eachother and happy to maintain the distance all the time. It will become more mind-to world than world to mind, may be (just) we may stop characterizing and quoting examples to explain almost everything. We cannot stop it, but need for lateral thinking at a level free from biases and situations, is very necessary.
x, y are functions of t
x(t), y(t) = true, if t is a subset of {t1,t2……tn}
If we cannot bind t to a limit => x(t), y(t) will attain values {t1,t2,t3………tn}
